Swift and Easy Chicken Parmesan

My friend, Marcia, gave this recipe to me. It is swift and easy to make! Tasty too!

Recipe for Chicken Parmesan:


4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 egg, beaten
3/4 cup Italian seasoned dry bread crumbs
1 jar Spaghetti/Pasta sauce (or less to taste - I like it moist)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or Monterrey Jack is good too)

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Dip chicken in beaten egg, then in the bread crumbs.
In a 13 x 9 baking dish, arrange chicken flat.
Bake uncovered 20 minutes in the oven.
Pour sauce over chicken, top with cheese.
Bake 10 more minutes or until chicken is no longer pink and juices run clear.

~Tastes great with a garden salad and french bread! This is a great dish to share with company as well.
